When version 24.8.4 of LibreOffice came out today, I downloaded it to my Mac using the version for Apple Silicon.  It installed fine, so the file wasn't corrupt.  When I went to open it, though, I received a message, ""LibreOffice.app" is damaged and can't be opened.  You should move it to the Trash."

I'm sure I've seen this in the past, although I don't remember whether it was with the Intel/Intel, Intel/ARM or ARM/ARM combination. The problem was caused by all the "security features" that Apple has put into macOS; so check in system settings -> security if LO was blocked and/or if third-party applications are allowed to run.
Sorry, but I don't remember all the details.
