Hi.
Last Thursday I fired up LO on my Win 11 laptop to work on a story. A
popup popped up saying there was an updated. Maybe I've been lucky. I've
never had an issue updating. I said OK and as far a I know it did. I'm
now running 24.8.4.2 (X86_64). No errors or complaints from the updater.
I opened my story, up it came. I run with the right hand column open and
have my styles showing. Normally there are the list of styles that LO
comes with and three of my own for my stories.
Not this time. All styles including my own are gone save for three
standards. Now I have saved my own. I pulled down the drop-down to load
styles form template. My template was listed and highlighted, it's the
only one I'd added and is on the top of the list. I clicked OK. In
theory LO did what it's supposed to, I was back to my story. My styles
didn't load.
The conundrum: what happened to the styles? Where are mine?
I suspect I know what the response will be but I thought I'd ask just in
case. Fortunately I have an external template file with my three styles
so I can reload them. They're also backed up (twice) o my my big desk
top. I'm curious though. WTF?
Thank you.
