it *has no meaning* within LibreOffice.
For an empty paragraph in LibreOffice use the notation "^$" in the Find field,
with the replace field empty.
If you use ^$ in Find and Replace to locate empty paragraphs, don't forget to tick
the 'Regular Expressions' box in the F&R dialog box.
