Hello: My wife and I have been trying out Microsoft Office alternatives on our Linux Mint systems here at home for the last several months, and we were trying to utilize LibreOffice for our needs.
For the most part, compatibility wasn't so much of an issue until we tried using a Microsoft Excel calendar file in Calc and are having several issues with regard to formatting. Here is a screenshot of the original Excel file that we are trying to work with, taken from a Windows machine running Excel: [image: Excel_Comparison.png] This is an .xlsx file, and how it should appear and function in LibreOffice Calc. However, here is a screenshot of how it appears in Calc: [image: Calc_Formatting_Problems.png] Issues include: 1) The word "Shabbat" appears instead of "Saturday"; 2) Instead of the numbered days on the calendar, we receive an "#N/A" on the calendar; 3) Alignment of each person's (initials) hours is all over the place; 4) Why is there a dotted line between Friday and "Shabbat" indicated? Any guidance that you could offer in terms of proper formatting in Calc would be greatly appreciated. I will include a link to download the original .xlsx file for inspection if it will help: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1c4zm5SFkhycgt4Dlbc6BZ7no2HHBlhAF/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=115951068180197783225&rtpof=true&sd=true Thanks for your help!
