document to be smaller. Instead, it is now 8.1 MiB. It has gained 3.4 MiB which
is close to the overall size of the new images.
Does this mean that the odt document retains all the old history including the
original images? I'd like to get back to something smaller than the original
4.7 MiB so would welcome ideas for pruning it back without rewriting from
scratch.

images were linked in and not inserted.
