There is no reason to go to the main menu, when a file is opened.
Every function is possible using the upper menu bar, without closing the 
current file...

If one of LO components is open, no.

If LO is completely closed, you can launch "LibreOffice", which will
bring you to the same interface, without opening a specific LO component.
