LibreOffice MSI files are carefully scanned for viruses, and follow Microsoft certification rules (we have almost one million Windows download per week, and your message is the first one about visuses since late 2024).

On the other had, Virus Total is a virus scan aggregator, and provide many false positives, as they acknowledge: https://docs.virustotal.com/docs/false-positive-contacts

I ran the virus sweep several times and repeatedly get the same results on Virus Total.

Microsoft Defender doesn't raise the flag directly but cautions executing the Windows MSI without MS certification.
