Hi Harvey,
connecting to MariaDB with LO 25.8.4.2 and OpenSUSE 15.6 and direct
connector works here without any problem.
Might be it is a special libcrypt where LO 25.8.4.2 is looking for:
libcrypt.so.1 => /usr/lib64/libcrypt.so.1
I would change to newer LO 26.2.1.2. There wouldn't be asked for this
libcrypt.
