Thanks for the link. I had previously found that page. I was somewhat
confused by it, since that page recommends setting up condor
checkpointing as USERDEFINED instead of as TRANSPARENT. Have you
successfully set up condor checkpointing that way?

Also, I tried following the suggestion on that page:

qconf -mattr queue qtype "CHECKPOINTING BATCH INTERACTIVE" all.q

This produces an error:
The attribute name ("qtype") and/or value ("CHECKPOINTING BATCH
INTERACTIVE") is invalid
