I'm planning to get some of the informations I need by connecting to the
ARCo DB from my Python code, and to invoke the GE commands once I got
the data and I've taken the proper decisions. DRMAA APIs would be much
better, but at the moment the v2 specs are not available, and even when
they will be released I can't figure how long does it take to implement
it in GE.

Well, DRMAA v2 isn't yet finalized and then needs to be approved by
OGF. Once that's done we certainly have the intention to add support
for it.

Do you refer to JGDI, the JMX interface or one of the in-house
solutions which some community members have been referring to in this
thread?
The JGDI and JMX interfaces are maintained but at this point they are
not public and are not considered stable, i.e. they may change without
notice and they do not make guarantees for backward compatibility of
an sort. Hence they are also not documented externally.
