Mark, Yes, this is certainly an option for batch jobs, and one that I wish to make use of. However, for interactive jobs (which can still be scheduled in my pe_slots SMP environment), you don't get the NSLOTS env variable. Hence the question... I'll definitely post a solution when (if?) I get something working.
