I tried - included the script you gave below into
/share/apps/sbin/mail_wrapper.sh Changed permissions to 755 Then did 'qconf -mconf', changed the 'mailer' to /share/apps/sbin/mail_wrapper.sh Submitted a job via qsub (same hello_world.sh) but the headers (or the body) of the email did not change.
