maybe I got it by switching the file roles like you said.

/gridware/sge/default/common/reporting >>
/gridware/sge/default/common/reporting.not.deleted.by.dbwriter &
******************************************************
I see the dbwriter processing and deleting the file
/gridware/sge/default/common/reporting, but later the file is recreated,
also the file reporting.not.deleted.by.dbwriter is growing with new
information.
if the logic breaks in the coming days I'll report on the mailing list,
