We currently have a script that relies on the qstat command with the -q option specified. We want to see all running and pending jobs for a given queue. However, I have noticed that sometimes the output will only show running jobs in that queue and other times it will display running and pending jobs. I have not been able to figure out what causes it to display one way or the other.
