I'm hoping this post finds its way to Mark Olesen. I'm using SGE 6.2u4 and Flex-Grid 20091012. I've placed an advanced reservation for 8 slots and 12 of a complex I named abaqus: #name shortcut type relop requestable consumable default urgency #----------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------- abaqus abaqus INT <= YES JOB 0 0 I've noticed a funny thing. This is the output from qlic -c cachefile: age = 0:00:12 resource total limit extern intern wait free -------- ----- ----- ------ ------ ---- ---- abaqus 83 . . 76 . 7 If I add the 12 reserved (which have not been requested by any job) to the 76 used internally, I get 88, which is more than the total. Why would this be? It appears the reservation for abaqus is not taking effect.
