what do you mean by rejected? Any error output or error code in a
`qacct` for these task instances like can't open output file or prolog
failed or so? If the job task never started, did the defined SGE admin
get an eMail about it or anything in the messages files (both, the
qmaster and the exechost)?

In that case the "touched" queues are set into "E" mode.
I have a cron job to "qmod -cq "*" every 10 min., but I am still
looking for the reason of that problem. If the same job is used only
a few, e.g.
#$ t 1-50 instances, no problem occurs. Does anybody know this
problem ?
