I didn't know there was a bug compiling it.  There was with running it.
Sorry if you didn't get the fix I thought I sent (relating to malloc
hooks, I think, which could be avoided by not building with jemalloc).
I did build a pre-release SoGE on SuSE at some stage when there was a
suggestion of some problem with it, so the build problem has probably
been fixed.

By the way, I'd be happy to have any changes to the RPM spec file for
SuSE compatibility, if SuSE users try it.
