Hi Francis,

I'm on Ubuntu which, as far as I know, inherits its gridengine packages
pretty much direct from Debian.

If you look in /usr/share/doc/gridengine-common/copyright you'll see this:

This package was debianized by Mark Hymers <m...@debian.org> on
Sun, 18 May 2008 10:00:00 +0100.

It was downloaded from
http://gridengine.sunsource.net/servlets/ProjectDocumentList

So yeah, I've not found any easy .deb packages for either Son of Grid
Engine or Open Grid Scheduler, and I'm not sure whether they're being
worked on.  I was vaguely considering pinging Mark to find out, though
I'm not sure he's still maintaining it, seeing as the last changes to
the package were a non-maintainer upload.
