Hi, I'm using Son of Grid Engine 8.0.0d and whenever I start qlogin, an sge_shepherd process is constantly consuming 100% of a CPU core on the execution host.
I found a workaround to start qlogin with "-pty n", which is a bit ugly to explain to users, so I decided to put it in $SGE_ROOT/$SGE_CELL/common/sge_request, but if I start qlogin this way, sge_shepherd again consumes 100% of a CPU all the time. So, to me it looks like qlogin doesn't respect -pty n if set via sge_request. Is it a bug, or do I have to consider anything special about this setup? Thanks! P.
