That's fine, I gathered as much from the doco.

But this minimal path is hardcoded in the qsub/qrsh binary? And you're
saying that qrsh will never source system or user profiles?

I could add '-v PATH=$PATH' to sge_request. Would qrsh expand that
environment variable?
