Thank you, Rayson. this installs perfectly...

Didn't see the note. Is the front page this? There are three links on that page (which may be confusing not just to me):

Under "current release" I see
Download: Grid Engine 2011.11 binary for x64 - which points to dropbox, but not to the "respin" edition.

Then there is a link to Sourceforge files with the comment
The latest version and older versions can be downloaded from the Open Grid Scheduler download area. Sourceforge doesn't have the "respin" edition, either.

And finally, there is a third link without any comments:
Download: Grid Engine 2011.11 binary for x64 (now with the GUI installer) This is the link to "respin", but I don't see any notes that the other two are no good. In fact, given the choice between dropbox address (which is much slower), and sourceforge address (with "the latest version" comment), it is natural to pick sourceforge.

Thanks again for a quick response,
Felix

We put the note on the front-page, in the "Download Grid Engine/Grid
Scheduler" section.

Hi,

As I am trying to install ge2011.11 through ./start_gui_installer I am
getting the following error:

"Unable to access jarfile ./util/gui-installer/installer.jar"

That's true - there is no file ./util/gui-installer/installer.jar. Is it
missing from the tar? Can I get it from somewhere else?

Thanks
Felix
