I use it here on a mid-sized academic cluster (~450 exec nodes), as I have
one research group that turns every desktop into a submit host. Those
hosts only get certs for that group's users, so that a desktop compromise
only affects those users. I'd feel a lot less comfortable without CSP
mode.
We also use it here on our uni cluster, to allow for dedicated submit
hosts for specific research groups - which only have the relevant keys,
as per Joshua's setup.

I'd say so, given that the documentation is pretty incomplete and, as you
say, questions are rare.
I'd agree - not least because it's quite a pain to set up, and somewhat
buggy when trying to manage the keys. Now that we're over all that
though, we're very happy with it.
