I have written a collection of scripts (BASH, MySQL and PHP) that parse the SGE accounting file and present the resulting data in an eye-candy way (using HighCharts) - for our researchers as well as university administrators who fund the cluster.
You may check their working on our prototype/test cluster (accessible through the end of this week): http://wigner.it.mtu.edu/reports/ Plots are interactive - clicking on a legend will (de)activate the respective series and one can zoom into an area of interest as well. If interested, let me know and I can share some pointers and get you started.
