It might be useful to have a comparison of the N different power-down systems if anyone has the information. (I think at least one is missing from http://arc.liv.ac.uk/SGE/tools.html but I can't find the note of it.)
I don't think any of the external ones deal with reservations and calenders. Also you need to take PEs and complexes into account on very heterogeneous systems like ours.
