At least in 6.2u3 SGE_STARTER_SHELL_PATH doesn't always get set when invoked via qrshd and sometimes parallel code expects what it passes to qrsh to be interpreted by a shell. If SGE_STARTER_SHELL_PATH isn't set invoking /bin/sh -c "$*" or equivalent should DTRT.
