    They will submit jobs to the cluster which, when they arrive on the 
cluster, will be available in the cluster's form (linux or whatever) due to 
their env vars or whatever.   They just need the client side apps, like qsub, 
qstat, etc.   I'm just the poor sap who has to provide/understand/configure 
that stuff.

What do you refer to by "Windows users" - they want to run some Windows 
applications in the cluster (mainly on their own machines), or do they want to 
access the queuingsystem to submit jobs elsewhere and inspect the results?
