My question is regarding the job status email that can be sent via the
qsub option -m aebs. Is the "Host" referred to in the email body the
exechost?

On another note what exactly is the exechost? I've noticed it's always
a compute node (not a submit node). What makes it special as opposed
to all the other nodes that take part in a job?
