Is there any way to bring up an execd node, without explicitly configuring it at the qmaster? Perhaps it could come up and be added to a default queue?
If it is possible to do this, is it possible to specify a specific OS version for the execd when submitting a job? Obviously, this can be done by assigning execd hosts to specific queues and submitting the job to the appropriate queue, but I was wondering if there was some way to submit to one queue, but specify the OS via some other parameter.
