We actually don't have a shared $SGE_ROOT, so that in the event of network/storage trouble the binaries and libraries are still accessible. We do have $SGE_ROOT/$SGE_CELL on network storage via a symlink, so the accounting and reporting files are accessible. We also send the accounting and reporting files to Splunk so we can generate some dashboards for our useres.
