Hi Artem,

Thanks for your email, we don’t have that issues mail list, you can just send
it to users list or build ticket in our JIRA.

The docker image does have the pre-configured Hive tables, which are created by
shell script after docker container starts up. But due to the slow start up
process of Hadoop environment in docker, we’ve set about half a minute’s
latency for the Hive table creation script. That’s why we need about one minute
for the start up of griffin docker container.

BTW, the quickstart page is modified these days, I can visit it, maybe you can
take a refresh.

Thanks
Lionel, Liu

Subject: Docker image apachegriffin/griffin_spark2:0.3.0 does not
havepre-configured demo Hive tables

Hello!

I was not able to subscribe to issues mail list (with both:
[email protected] and
[email protected]) that's why I'm writing here.

I found that Docker image apachegriffin/griffin_spark2:0.3.0 does not have
pre-configured demo Hive tables. Is it okey? Old version (couple days ago) of
quickstart on the site
(https://griffin.incubator.apache.org/docs/quickstart.html) proposed to use
docker image for quick start. Now I don't see that page. Should the docker
image be fixed?

BTW, after I configured Hive demo tables, some process started to fill up the
tables as expected.

Thanks,
Artem.
