GitHub user dmainou added a comment to the discussion: How to import a project
into hop-config.json with ./hop-conf.sh

Yes the project and environment names are arbitrary.

However, the moment you want to run a pipeline using hop-run.sh you need to
supply both the project and environment name and it makes it harder for me to
handover to someone else if I need to start with uncertainty.

It would be easier to state. Import your project config into hop by running
this command. Run your pipeline with this other command.

Not everyone deals well with consistency. I can commit hop-config as part of
the repo but then I as a dev with many clients need to jump between them.

I'm just looking for a middle ground.
