GitHub user dmainou closed a discussion: Unit Tests: How to exit the unit test
mode to enable regular execution?

Hi Team,

Is there a way to quickly swap between a unit test and non unit test modes?

I'm sure I'm doing something wrong.

Once I create a unit test and link it to a pipeline the unit test is selected
and active for that pipeline until you are ready to run the pipeline with
actual data. At that point in time I click on the detach button and I can then
run things as normal.

However, if I want to run the unit test again the unit test no longer shows in
the unit test dropdown.

To re attach a pipeline, you need to go into the metadata perspective and find
the test, re link it and then test to then detach, etc.

I'm assuming that people will want to run unit tests every time the anything
changes. Including changes to Infra, OS, Java, or Hop are upgraded or simply
every time something is not working quite right.

Am I missing anything?

Thanks for your help!
