Within Pentaho I have the 'Fixed File Input' step. As I could read on the internet, is that HOP doesn't support this, and I should use the 'Input Text File Input' transform, with type 'Fixed'. The problem that I have, is that sometimes there is a \n (= return) within the line. For the 'Fixed File. Input' is that no problem, because this reads the amount of characters as defined in the fields. The value then includes the \n (= return). Try to convert this Pentaho step to the HOP 'Input Text File'. But I'am not able to solve this problem, because for HOP the value is splitted in the next line. Is there a solution for this?
