Finally I got it working. I just commented the VirtualHost part and
simply put the following:

Finally I got it working. I just commented the VirtualHost part and
simply put the following:
<Directory /var/www/localhost/cgi-bin/BackupPC>
Options FollowSymLinks
Options +ExecCGI
AuthName "E-mail login:"
AuthType Basic
AuthUserFile /usr/local/bp/htpasswd
Require user manilal
</Directory>
But I couldn't identify what had gone wrong there. I'm unsure about
ScriptAlias and ExecCGI so I need to read more abt it. What are your
thoughts?
