You're making it more complicated than it needs to be. Why not just use:
Redirect / https://www.domain.com/abc/index.jsp
BTW, your post is a bit inconsistent:
- example uses http, VH snippet uses https
- example uses "domain.com", VH snippet uses "www.domain.com"
- example uses "index.jsp", quote below uses "Index.jsp"
It makes it difficult to tell what you're really trying to do...
