Okay, thank you :-), that worked and I was able to debug my .conf-file,
and restart Apache.
Though, that didn't solve the problem, after another edit of the .conf
file (also probably with some bugs), Apache committed the same: black
command screen (even after undoing those edits) - and, this is /not/
logged in the event log anymore ...
So, moral of the story: don't edit your httpd.conf ?
Start the Apache server as a console application with
*apache.exe -e debug *
Check the System Event Log in Event Viewer.
Event Viewer is accessed with Administrative Services>Event Viewer.
Check the System Log and the Application Log.
