Sorry for the long subject, but this has been an ongoing problem for 4
months, and I was FINALLY able to reproduce the problem.
mssql functions in PHP cease to function properly after Apache serves up
several large static PDF files that are located on a Samba server as
part of a virtual host. If the same PDF files are stored on a local
drive, there isn't a problem. The version of Apache doesn't matter, nor
does PHP.
IIS does not have this problem.
Apache (any version)
PHP (any version)
Windows 2003 Server
Samba 3.0.10 on RH EL4
