I am using apache that was installed via apt-get onto ubuntu linux 7.04 (it says version 1.3.34-4.1)
I use a utility called shc (http://aplawrence.com/Linux/shc.html) to encrypt a perl script by creating an executable by putting a C wrapper around the script. The encrypted executable runs fine from the command line, however I am unable to get it to run through the apache server in cgi-bin (Internal Server Error).
