I'll check into timeouts, any idea where they are set? I verified it is due to data length, which could be time related. When the data part of the packet exceeds 256 bytes, it fails. If I simplify my applet class to get it down below 256 bytes (192) it loads. The 256 value makes me think it's a length problem, though it seems odd that the protocol doesn't deal with this. I guess I have more to learn...
