Thank you for your reply. Was able to see your reply in the archives but it
didn't land in my inbox yet. Subscribed to this list just a moment before
posting this question. So, it may take a while for the list to reflect my user
id as well.
So, this may appear as a new thread.
Coming back to the original problem, as it didn't work with the default conf
file, I made minor modification as below:
Original entry:
<Directory />
Options FollowSymLinks
AllowOverride None
Order deny,allow
Deny from all
</Directory>
Updated as:
<Directory />
Options FollowSymLinks
AllowOverride None
Order allow,deny
Allow from all
</Directory>
