Hi I have a working ldap server running openldap-2.3.43-3.el5 on centos 5.3. Unix-level authentication works fine. My Apache webserver, httpd-2.2.3-22.el5.centos.2, will not authorise to ldap.

A have another apache webserver running a similar config talking to this ldap server, and it works. Is there an issue authorizing apache onto an ldap server running on the same physical server? It seems to authenticate, but not authorise. It all works fine when authenticating to local files. I have been searching for a answer fro several days now - any help greatly appreciated.
