Hi:
I have a working database which is accessed via ICE from a
web browser. I want to duplicate this database and the ICE
application that uses it in another computer. So I used the
copy db script from Visual DBA and the archive business
unit utility from the ICE administration tool. The profile,
user, role, etc. settings were duplicated by hand in the
other computer because there is no automatic way to do it.
So I created another ingres installation and created an
empty database named "housing", then I executed the copy.in
script and all worked perfectly I loaded the business unit
into ICE and it worked perfectly.
I can log in into the application but once I am into a page
that uses an ICE macro that accesses the database I can no
longer have the functionality of watching the results on
the web page and it sends a message:
