Hello, I'm setting up IPv6 on linux kernel 2.4.1. When executing 'ifconfig', one expects to see: inet addr:10.10.1.9 Bcast: 10.10.1.255 Mask:255.255.255.255.0 inet6addr: fe80:.......... scope: link inet6addr: 3ffe........... scope: Global inet6 addr:fe80........... scope: Link UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU: 1500 Metric: 1 However, I only see: inet addr: 10.10.1.9 Bcast: 10.10.1.255 Mask: 255.255.255.255.0 UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU: 1500 Metric:1 I can't figure out why the link & global address does not appear. Has anyone encountered similar situation before? I'm new to this mailing list and hope the question is appropriate for this newsgroup. If not, I would greatly appreciate if someone can direct me to the appropriate newsgroup. Thanks in advance! Susan __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
