I'm beginner in IPv6 and I want to make linux for support IPV6.
Now I just compile linux kernel version 2.2.14-5.
But I have some problem about network configurations.
How can I specific my IP for my network interface???

I can see this when I use "ifconfig"

eth0      Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr 00:50:56:8F:CF:14
          inet addr:192.168.1.18  Bcast:203.154.207.255  Mask:255.255.255.0
          UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
          RX packets:817 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
          TX packets:381 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0 txqueuelen:100
          Interrupt:9 Base address:0x1000

lo        Link encap:Local Loopback
          inet addr:127.0.0.1  Mask:255.0.0.0
          inet6 addr: ::1/128 Scope:Host
          UP LOOPBACK RUNNING  MTU:3924  Metric:1
          RX packets:18 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
          TX packets:18 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
