I've found out the problem!!

The problem is with pim6dd running on other bsd machines in our network. Once I 
disabled pim6dd on the gateway router connecting the solaris 8 machine, the error mesg 
stops.

here's the snoop results before and after disabling pim6dd

When i check SUN's IPv6 website, solaris 8 doesn't have support for pim6dd yet.
