First of all, you should tell us the OS you're using (though your mail
address in the from field seems to suggest it's Linux) and its
version. Since some parts of IPv6-related APIs, including the
handling of the sin6_scope_id field, are still immature, you cannot
expect to get answers unless you provide precise information.
