Hi all,

I hate to send software announcements like this, but I need testers and I
don't know of a better place to find them than here. :-)

I've released an IPv6 patch for Samba 2.2.3a that enables SMB over IPv6.
Of course, I'd like IPv6 support in the official Samba source, but that
would have to go into the CVS HEAD code which is not exactly
production-ready. Thus, I've modeled the patch on Samba 2.2.3a for the
time being.

What I need is for people to test this patched version to make sure there
is nothing major that I've overlooked before I start on the HEAD patch.
If you're willing to run/test the patch, you can find a diff and a source
RPM, as well as documentation, here:

http://v6web.litech.org/samba/

Again, sorry for the product announcement, but I'd like to get IPv6
support into Samba CVS ASAP so it can be included in Samba 3.0.

Thanks! -Nathan
