you mean no IPv6 autoconfiguration (link-local address) happen? if so,
check if the device (and driver) is capable of doing multicast.
multicast is mandatory for ethernet devices in IPv6.
if the nic is not recognized at all, it is not an IPv6 problem,
you should ask it on [EMAIL PROTECTED]
