Hi, I'm having some trouble in understanding how DNS queries works, more specifically how is it's format in a packet that is going to be read by a DNS server. It is ASCII data like with FTP commands or it has an special data structure? I have read RFC 1035 and 2766 (Section 4) but I don't understand how is the format of this queires and it's responses and how to translate them into it's IPv6 counterparts.
