Hi,

I've got a Question concerning NAT-PT for Cisco IOS
Release 12.3(1a).

Incomming IPv4 packets are correctly translated to
IPv6, but outgoing traffic is dropped by the NAT
process. With enabled debug mode the router
prints out the folloing message:
"IPv6 NAT: Dropping v6tov4 packet"

To use NAT-PT I've enabled IPv6 NAT
on the IPv4 and IPv6 Interface.
And set up a NAT prefix for the IPv4 interface
and a global one. For testing I configures a v6v4
source static address mapping.

Do I need to set up an access list, to
allow translating IPv6 packets?

Best Regards,
Stefan Metzlaff
